Safari browser extensions currently cannot support Retina screen capture functionality. This limitation stems from Apple's control over Safari browser resource access. The following content explains the specific situation and recommended solutions.

Technical Limitation Explanation

Apple has not provided the necessary resources and interfaces required to implement Retina screenshots in the current version of Safari browser
This causes all third-party developed Safari extensions (including Eagle's browser extension) to be unable to capture Retina quality screenshots

Recommended Solutions

If you would like Safari browser to support Retina screenshot functionality, we recommend:

Providing direct feedback to Apple about this need, requesting them to restore support for the original screenshot canvas dimensions
Expressing your need for this functionality - if more users submit similar requests, Apple may prioritize this issue
While waiting for Apple's updates, you may consider using other browsers that already support Retina screenshots (such as Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

Important Notes

This limitation specifically refers to using extensions for screenshots within Safari browser
This issue is caused by browser technical limitations, not limitations of the Eagle application itself
We will continue monitoring Safari browser updates, and once Apple opens the relevant interfaces, we will implement Retina screenshot support immediately
